Found some defective parts with the alu. Fixed that now waiting for new parts that I forgot to order or ran out of LSXXX.

Added a quick and dirty INTEL 82C54 timer.
I have gone as far as I want with this proto type setup hardware wise.
3 uarts, and two CF cards and timer chip. Ordered more LSXXX parts, and a different
CF adaptor.
I wanted to add a real time clock interrupt, but I needed to wait a month for parts.
Memory wise, it will be full to the gills, 64 K ram user space and 64K ram O/S space.
Algol ready with recusive procedures and limited bolean logic.
I need a good name for this 24 bit beast still.

Going backwards in time. Found a few defective bus drivers, thus I am at the "print the welcome message" and crash after that.
Needed a longer reset to get the Front Panel working. Tomorrow working on busing problems.

I got more ringing in the clock lines than I expected. Since this requires a complete rebuild to clean up,
I am down sizeing to 20 bits, and rebulding a new computer.

You could try bodging in some termination resistors as a temporary fix.

May have big design problems, the newer version of chips that I use, have v low max .6 volts for input.
The old chips that have layout problems have V low of .8 volts for input.
