Do I need a photo sharing account to upload pictures here or does this board store the photos? Is there a size limit?

Hi Chuck
This doesn't answer your precise question, but you can put links to any online photo in a post - almost all of the pictures I post are merely links to pictures in other people's websites. Sometimes they will break if a site is reorganised or shut down, but otherwise it's the easiest way.

When I do use a hosting site, I generally use http://imgur.com/ or http://imageshack.us

Of course, it may be that our admins are happy to allow photo uploads in posts - Mike does now allow this on http://forum.6502.org/ but for many years he did not.

Cheers
Ed

Both of those appear to be Facebook though - they're blocked by my scripting extension, when I check what script they try to run it's Facebook for both sites. But there are many others, some seem to work better than others. Flickr seems to not detect any of the blocks in my extensions. Photobucket is a bit more problematic, not sure why.
Wikipedia has a list of photo sharing sites: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_p ... g_websites

Dunno if there's a size limit, but YES you can store images here if you prefer. :) The setup is the same as with 6502.org:

Use the Browse field to upload the image(s). They will appear after the text of your post unless you choose to situate the cursor then engage the Place inline facility.

cheers,
Jeff

Under the window where you're typing your post, there are a couple of tabs: "Options", and "Upload attachment". Click on the latter to get the "Browse..." option Jeff is talking about. (Or maybe mine looks slightly different because I chose the ProSilver interface.)
