This is off-topic to a computer forum, but I'll mention it anyway --- most computer people play chess --- I actually play Go mostly, but have never been much for chess.

I invented a chess variant called: Elphaba Chess
This is just like regular chess except that the queen can't capture opponent's pieces, and it can't be captured --- it is used for blocking.
