Hi, I just happened to come across this recent blog post about the challenges of moving Ron Cain's Small-C to a PDP-8. Makes for some interesting reading... This work is being done by Vince Slyngstad.

Also, here is another post on the topic that led me to the discussion above...

I can't view that site - Firefox blocks it with the following error:
"Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to so-much-stuff.com. Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s).

Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP"

If I remove the "s" from https my ISP blocks it, so I guess there's something dodgy about that site?

You can often view through the lens of the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine:

The site uses a "Lets Encrtpt" certificate. That's fine - they just didn't renew it in time.

Should be fine now and until the 9th of June.

Hmmm - the HTTPS connection's still failing here with Firefox - weird. Does no-one else see this?
I wonder what's tripping the Plusnet SafeGuard filter when I try and use vanilla http:// ?

But yeah, the wayback machine is very useful for this situation - thanks.
